SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it is actually alarmed concerning the superior amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no fully functional office dedicated to service the area regularly.
